   Misery Link a kings son wanted to venture out and meet misery. it took him a long time to run out of money and fall on hard times and a long distance traveled where his name meant nothing, but those hard time did eventually come. he found himself near a sleeping man eating ogre and was frozen by fear. he drew a dagger and stabbed the ogre in both eyes blinding him. the ogre knew the place well and chased him as he ran away after that. the son was outrunning the ogre, so he threw a ring at him and said to keep it to remember him by. the son put it on. the ogre then called out to the ring and the ring replied back. this went on for some time and the ogre kept getting closer. the ring was unable to be removed. eventually the son realized he could not get away like this and let the ogre rip off his finger, then he was able to flee. he cam home, knowing what misery was. there was a man who killed nine flies in a single blow, so he had nine in a blow put on his belt. he ...

Link story about sleepy john. he sleeps everywhere, he even fell asleep in a barn, got put in a beer cask and placed in the middle of the forest. he then met a dying old man who agreed to give him stuff if he would stay and bury him in three days. he did this and the old man gave john a stick that could teleport himself, a hat that would make him invisible, and a bag that he could pull anything out of. he heard of a queen who was wearing the soles of 12 shoes every night and so he volunteered to try and track her, for no one else could. he tracked her on her journey to hell using the stick to follow and the hat to stay out of sight. he picked up proof and told the king the next day and got rewarded handsomely for it. a king had three daughters. he often got lost in the forest and each time a creature offered to help him out and give him riches if he would give a daughters hand in marriage. this h...

   Woden's Day Link there was a husband and wife who had a son, but the wife died. the baby cried all throughout the day, but it became very quiet at night. this was peculiar, so the maid stayed awake that night to see what was happening, the door was quietly opening and then after a short time the baby would not make a noise, like it was suckling. a group of men wanted to know what exactly was occuring, so they hid in he babies room and revealed a lantern when the baby went silent. they all saw the dead mother nursing her child, when they saw her, she just looked at her baby all sad like and left. they were in terror, and they found the baby dead. a women was unable to finish the work she  was doing one night, so she prayed to mother wednesday to help her wake up early the next morning so she could finish her work. she awoke to a woman, wednesday, working on what she was to do and she was telling the woman to do this and that to help her finish. she got scared an...

 spongebob pie bombs Link there was a farmer who lost his wife and child. his plower also quit last minute. some man appeared looking for work and they agreed hed be paid as much as he could carry. he was slow to start and had an unusual method, but it worked. he nearly took all of the corn, but then his bag broke. a king traded his family for a fairy branch that could make everyone happy. he waited a year and then sat off to find his family. along the way he passed some men doing things, all a metaphor for different types of people. he got his family back in the end. there lived two brothers and the mother of the second was trying to poison the first, so her son would become king. her son found out and saved him. they bottled the poison drink and ran away. they were not sure if it was actually poison, so they gave it to the horse. he died, as did the other horse. then so did the twelve birds that ate the horse. the birds were made into pies, but then some robbers took t...

   Spongebob dreaming Link five men got together to decide who would become king. the main man was not chosen and got angry, they gave him a beautiful wife to cheer him up and they had four kids. she died and then he married the sister who ended up hating the children and tried to have them killed. she failed but turned them into swans. she got turned into an air demon as punishment. the spell eventually got broken, but not before they had grown old, and they died the day the spell was undone. there was a king who had a devil living inside of him, so he ate a large feast for every meal. a dr of sorts came to help. he convinced the king to fast for a time and then tied him up and ate the feast that he usualy does. tempting him with every bite until the devil jumped out. then he burned it.   a dog and a baby Link the king had a dog and it was real sweet at home but fierce when hunting. one day the dog would not come when called, so the king had to go hunting without him. when he returned, the dog was at the gate covered in blood. the king was startled by this and soon began to worry the dog attacked his son who the dog often played with. he went to the nursery, and there was more and more blood along the way. the king got to an overturned crib completely surrounded by blood and saw no sight of his son. the king was furious and plunged his sword inside the dog, killing it. then a baby started to cry from beneath the crib, the son, and the king saw a dead wolf behind the crib. the dog had stayed to guard the son, but the king ended up killing him for it. this man set out to find work. he was promised three pounds a year, but was always given advice instead of money. this happened for three years, and on his leave he was given s cake to take home to share with ...

 a drunk leprechaun link it seemed to be almost a story of death. A woman appeared and came from another land, a haven. the father got his druid to scare her away for a while, but until her return, the son yearned for her to come back. she eventually came back and the father let his son go with her. a man saw a leprechaun. he was careful to never take his eyes off of him, for if you do that they will escape. they argued about what the beer the leprechaun made was made out of. the leprechaun tried to trick him to turn around, he almost fell for it, but caught himself. he quickly grabbed the leprechaun but accidentally knocked over the beer and he had a murderous look in his eye. he demanded to be taken to the gold. the lep did so and took him a few fields away and told him where to dig. he marked it with his scarf and went home to grab a spade having the lep promise to not move the scarf. when he got back, the lep had taken the scarf. a king told a tailor if he could go a...

 Iktomi the spider Link a spider found some plums and decided to use them to trick a couple of women with babies. he told them where they could find more and offered to watch their kids while they were gone. he made the kids into soup and fed it to the hungry women when they returned. they realized what happened and so he ran away into a hole. he climbed out the other side much later and returned looking like a stranger and offered to help the women. he then went and "killed" the spider and told the women to go into the hole and get a piece of them for themselves. they obliged, and when down there, he filled the hole trapping and killing them. a spider did not share his food with the muskrat, which sharing is customary. after a while, the spider challenged him to a race, he gets half if he wins. the muskrat declares the race unfair, so the spider carries a giant boulder to even the odds. the muskrat swims very quickly and wins with ease and eats the entire pot, only ...

 The wisest turtle of them all Link a rabbit tricked a bunch of birds into a bag and took them home to be cooked by grandma. they tricked her into letting them go. she was able to catch one, but when the rabbit got home she explained what happened and said but she caught two. he told her that was only one, and it was small. a mother lost her daughter and was very sad. she refused to leave the body and was threatening to kill herself. nobody could get the knife away from her, so they asked the help of the village idiot. he went to the tent and sat outside. he slowly broke out into song and dance and did he gosh darned best to cheer up the woman and respect the dead, and he waived his arms over the body in some manner. the mother laughed at this and decided she most live for her husband and gave up the knife. the village elders were confused by the whole thing but decided that it was good. the motive is better than the deed and it is better to live for the living, than die ...

 a bear with a coke Link the warriors went out and caught a bear for food. the bear had a cub who they gave to an old lonely women. she raised this cub and it grew to understand human. it played with the children until it became to big, then the men, and then eventually went hunting with them. it caught a lot of good food for them to eat, but another tribe almost killed it not knowing it was friend. the old woman gave it a collar so it could be recognized. a man in the north heard of this bear that nobody dared kill, so he set out to kill it. the woman warned the bear to never harm a human, unless they attack first. the bear came home with this dead north man and the woman had to get rid of the bear for surely others would come to fighht him. she drew a big black circle on his side and set him free. people still speak of occasionally seeing a bear as big as a glacier with a big black spot on its side. a lame little boy lost his parents and sister. ghosts came into his hous...

 A wolf fox and rabbit Link There was a hunter who was made a cup out of a leaf and tried to drink from a stream. A raven flew into the cup and knocked out the water. the hunter thought it a fluke and filled his cup again. the raven again rammed into the cup. when this happened a third time, the hunter became very angry and shot the bird dead. After that, he wondered why the bird kept doing that, so he traveled upstream and found that the water was coming from the mouth of a giant serpent and that many skeletons lay dead next to the water. the bird saved his life and he killed him for it. a wolf fox and rabbit all worked together to trick a traveler and steal his stuff. once they got the stuff, the rabbit decided how it was to be divided up. the shoes went to the wolf because he walked the most, but they proved to be too heavy and got him killed by a hunter. the fox got a bell for his children to play with, but it scared them to death. and the rabbit got the food, he had t...

  A rock in prison Link there was a frog who tricked a tiger in believing that he was mighty. The frog grabbed a hold of the tiger tail as he jumped across the river to trick him in believing that he could jump that far. he spit up tiger hairs and attributed that to the tiger he ate yesterday. the tiger got scared and ran away. the tiger found a fox and they tied their tails together to go confront the frog, but the frog made a remark that scared the tiger into beliving it was a trap and he ran away with fox still attached. a man was selling oil and set it down on a rock. a different man was headed to own and his donkey knocked the jar down and broke it. the king judged that neither man was at fault, but the fault lay on the rock and donkey, so he had both put in jail. The people thinking he has gone mad came to see the trial, but once they were all in court the king said you cannot try them and everyone there was dumb and had to pay a fine in order to leave. the collected...

Tanooki mario Link This was a story of a hero who left home. He went out seeking adventure and one night stumbled upon a group of cats chanting. they were saying do not tell schippetero. the hero went into town to find a girl who was to be sacrificed to these cats. he asked about schippetero, who he found out was the prince's dog. He got the dog and hid him inside the box that would be given to the cats. when the time came, the dog jumped out and so did the hero, and they killed the mountain spirit cat king and some of his henchmen. a crab found some rice outside of her home. a monkey offered he a fruit seed for half of the rice. she said yes and grew a tree from the seed. the monkey came back and took all the fruit and did not give any to the crab, so she tricked him into dropping some for her, and he got mad and beat her half to death. her friends came and saved her and then devised a plan to get back at him. a man and a tanuki had a rivalry.   two frogs standing atop one another Link two separate frogs decided to go on a journey across their country. They both started on one end and were going were the other was coming from. they met in the middle atop a mountain and decide to climb ato the others back to see if where they were headed was worth it. they did this and stretched out as long as they could, but whilst their nose was facing the right town, their eyes were gazing upon the town they came from. They did not continue their journey, for they thought that the towns appeared to be the same, and they went home, not knowing how different the other town actually was. there was once a women who was extremely beautiful. She was brought up to be kind and to work really hard. Both of her parents died and the mothers last wish was that she hide her beauty, so she would not be ill treated or preyed upon, or something like that.   A fish fairy Link A young man went on a journey to find fear. He ran into bandits, pestered by zombies, nearly strangled by ghosts, and had to fight off a goddess of the sea so she was not to sink a ship. none of this caused him fear, not even an attempt on his life. The king hid a life bird inside the dish that the young man was about to eat, and when he opened the dish the bird flew out andstarteled him, to that, the king told him that was fear. A fisherman caught a beautiful fish, so he dug a pound behind his house, so he could keep it and gaze upon it. The fish turned into a beautiful maiden and the fisherman wanted her hand in marriage. she agreed, but the king heard of this maiden and claimed her as his own. the king said that the fisherman could keep the maiden if he could complete an impossible task. the fisherman told the maiden this and she had it done. The king kept giving him impossible task after impossible task, until the maiden and fisherman completed them...

A picture of shazam Link a man was told that his son would be torn to pieces by a dog. so, the man locked his son away so this could not come to be. the son got married and the wife came to live with the son in his chambers. she turned into a wolf and ripped him to shreds. fate will find a way. An unlucky brother went on a journey to find his luck. along the way, he was asked by a wolf where he could find food, by a female queen as to why her subjects would not obey her, and by a gardener as to why his crops would not grow. The man found his luck and the luck gave him all the answers to the peoples questions. He told the woman and in response she asked to marry him, but he declined. he told the gardener that there were four gold jars and all he had to do was dig them up. the gardener told him to stay and share in the wealth, and he declined this as well. he went to the wolf and told him to eat any fool that passes by, so the wolf promptly ate the man and declared that he had ...

   out of control man with a horse Link a wolf cleverly stole the children of a goat. the goat went to rescue her children and demanded that they fight for them. They each took some time to prepare for the fight. The goat gathered up a bag full of fine butters and cheeses, and gave it to somebody to sharpen her horns. The wolf filled a bag with air, so it looked like it was full, and gave it to somebody to sharpen his teeth, but instead, the dentist pulled out all of his teeth and replaced them with cotton, that looked sharp. The goat was able to outsmart the wolf, kill him, and get her kids back. A girl went to market to buy some ointment for two eggs, but she supposedly lost the eggs and started describing what sounded like some crazy fever dream, the more it went the more she lost, and the crazier and crazier ways she went about finding it. sounded like me when I'm really trying to embellish a story.  Ak, the goblin king Link a king was tasked to retrieve a body that was hanging from a tree. The king went to do this and he cut the body down from the tree. The body made a noise when he did this, but when the king went to check, it was only a goblin that was inside of the body. as the king was carrying the body to wear it needed to go, the goblin offered to tell him a story for their journey. there were three men who all wanted to marry this one beautiful lady. she agreed to marry one of them, but died before she could make her decision. one of the men became a monk, and through his wanderings he found a way to bring the dead back to life.The monk brought the girl back to life, but each brother thought that they had claim to her, for they also helped. the goblin asked the king who should get her, and the king said the one who slept with her ashes, that is what a husband would do. it ends by saying that great minded people do not waiver until they keep their promises, eve...

A cute little bat Link a crow could not reach in a bucket to drink, for the water was too low. it had an idea and through in a pebble. the story repeated the same line many a time, and i found that charming. eventually, the crow got a drink, little by little eventually does the trick. maybe goal setting theory an eagle got shot with an arrow that was made with its own feathers. we often give our enemies the means for our own destruction. same story later on, but with trees and an axe. a chicken found a shiny pearl in the yard, but has no use for this. he said that he would gladly trade it for even a morsel of food. a bat claimed neither bird nor beast, thusly was accepted by neither as well. A snake bit and killed the farmers son who stepped on his tail, so in response the farmer chopped off the snakes tail. when the farmer tried to make amends, the snake declined and said that injuries can be forgiven but never forgotten.  a man prayed to a wooden idol that was ...
